Bunny Blog
It is with a heavy heart that I have to formally announce to all of my friends, fans, fellow rabbit fanatics and our customers: this June will mark the end of an era at Happy Farm Bunnies. Over the past year I’ve experienced a lot of changes in my personal life, and after much prayer and deliberation I’ve decided to accept a truly magnificent job opportunity back in my beloved city of Washington DC. Such a decision, though, doesn’t allow me to continue doing what I love, and that is Happy Farm Bunnies--to an extent.
It means that we will not be breeding rabbits anymore.
It means that all of our parents, save for Marmalade, Cameo and Fizzing Whizbee, are now for sale. Those ladies will become for sale as they wean their babies.
However...
I will still keep HappyFarmBunnies.com updated and active!
I will continue to write informative and helpful articles about rabbit knowledge, care, and discipline!
I will continue to keep an updated Facebook page to answer all of your rabbit questions and offer advice, tips, info and funny bunny photos!
I will, of course, honor our guarantee of constant knowledge and support for our previous HFB customers and their babies.
And with a bit of luck, I’ll have more time to devote to writing my book on rabbit care.
So, as you may know, we do currently have a litter of purebred Holland Lops from Marmalade and Dude that will be coming up for deposits this week. We are expecting a litter of purebred Netherlands from Cameo and Chesty born on June 9, and one last litter of Holland lops born from Fizzing Whizbee and Dude on June 15th.
If you are interested in any of our adults, please contact me. I’ll be listing them in multiple places for sale and will be sending out a comprehensive Litter Alert for all of them today. Their prices are listed on the “Mommas & Poppas” page, and their pedigrees are available to be e-mailed if desired.
To close, I’d just like to thank all of my friends, family, fans, customers and fellow rabbit fanatics. It’s been an incredible four years and I’ve learned so much more than I could ever put into words. This is not the end of the “rabbit road” for me; as I say, I’ll still be involved in the community and one day, I hope to be able to be back in a position to “re-open” Happy Farm Bunnies. (That’s why I’m keeping all of our names trademarked and copyrighted, and keeping the rabbitry registered with the ARBA.)
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
As always, I am hoppily yours,
Grace
